Spring is bloomin' at the Rose and Kettle

Spring has sprung at the Rose and Kettle, and we have lots of great talent lined up.  Our sincerest gratitude goes to the Cole Harbour Rural Heritage Society who provide us what has become the most welcoming venue in the region for both our musicians and our audiences.

Our concerts start at 7 on Thursday evenings, and admission is by free-will donation. All the funds go to the artists, except for a small percentage to support SOCAN. "The Rose and Kettle Concert Sessions" is an all-volunteer effort. Proceeds from sales of refreshments go to support the Cole Harbour Rural Heritage Farm.

June 21 - season ender with The Brights

A pair of wonderfully entertaining performers who bring a unique rich sound. Don Bray and Alyssa Wright describe their style as "Roots music, tinged with gospel, country and blues  accompanied by guitar, cello, Hawaiian king, accordion, mandolin, cajon, and whatever new sounds have recently tickled their fancy. With soulful harmonies and sensitive arrangements, The Brights offer original songs in an easy-going, timeless style, equally at home in kitchen party or concert hall."

This is the second time we have welcomed The Brights. They are so good we extended our season to make sure we didn't miss them.
